So, here I am, trying to post comments on our class blog. Over the last weeks I have listened to hundreds of videos, read comments (I am a big picture person - like to have all the info before I respond) but I'm not used to quite so much info (all of it interesting). And I am not sure what I've been waiting for in terms of responding (except maybe the deadline for the class to end...) Feeling a little bombarded and overwhelmed by information, I tried a new technique. I opened a new doc before re-watched the Ken Robinson video and copied relevant ideas to it as I went through he video and transcript. I then wrote a response post and copied that to the same doc. Some of the thoughts are really part of my final reflection and they'll be there to use when I get to the reflection. Lets see if that technique helps me finish my posts as this day progresses.
addendum - many hours later - my posts are finished and this technique definitely helped me to stay focused. I could take notes at the same time I was listening and docs saved continuously - I think Google docs are great!
